Kate Keefe Sullivan is partnering with Andrea Jones of Seek the Unique to bring us a fabulous new vintage flea market called Portland Flea and they’re looking for vendors for their inaugural event on September 17, 2011 in Portland, OR.
Here’s the scoop from Kate:
We’re still welcoming vendors and this first one is free to vend! We'll charge for future events.
Everything sold in the Flea much have vintage/antique appeal. This typically rules out anything manufactured within the last 20 years, but does not rule out handmade or refurbished items made from recycled antique/vintage goods.
Frequency: The third Saturday of the month, 8 am - midafternoon (3pm-ish depending on attendance). Vendors can arrive as early as 6am, but feel free to check in at your own pace in order to get set up by 8 am.
Location: SE 6th Ave from Belmont to Taylor will be closed to traffic (outside Seek the Unique, one block East of Rejuvenation).
** Looking for an indoor space for November-March.**
Booth cost: FREE for Saturday, September 17, 2011
Booth size: Each vendor will have a 10x10 booth (can request multiple booths at no additional cost for 9/17, but please specify the space you need as early as possible). Location within the Flea is first-come-first-served based on the order we receive applications. Note, each vendor provides his or her own booth structure, canopy and display racks as needed.
Portland Flea also just launched on Facebook and Twitter. If you’d like to be a vendor, we would love to promote your goods in our posts so don't forget to send pictures!
